Business & Money Scams! Do not fall for them.

by Joe on October 13, 2009

The need to get out of debt or become debt free, can expose a vulnerability that can be easily exploited. TV infomercials, mailing lists, and other offers that advertise for money making opportunities if you buy the CDs, Books or DVDs can sometime seem so attractive; however, majority of them do not work, and a lot of them are just plain scams.

Before you give them your credit card number (and pile another amount to the balance you want to clear), think it through, do your homework, and be careful.
If it’s quick money… it will disappear fast…. It takes time and some effort to get return on any sort of investment.
If you want quick cash, I have tried these methods below and made money:

  • Get your old college books and sell them on half.com
  • Buy some antiques on any thrift stores and list them on eBay.
  • Sell your unwanted items on craigslist

Share with us your experience.
